A polychrome and gold porcelain figurine. It depicts a young woman presenting potted flowers resting on a rocaille base accented with gold. It is an allegory of Flora or Spring. Our statuette bears the Meissen Manufactory’s signature—the crossed swords—on the underside. It is a 19th-century edition based on a design by Johann Joachim Kändler, a master modeler at Meissen in the 18th century.
It is in very good condition, with a tiny chip on a rose petal at the back of the flowerpot.
