TROMPEUR PITCHER with lid, baluster-shaped with an openwork neck, made of earthenware with a polychrome decoration depicting a Chinese figure in a wooded and architectural landscape. The thumb ring is made of pewter.
Height: 28.5 cm.
BURGUNDY (?), end of XVIII th century

In good condition; however, a chip at the tip of one of the spouts is noted and visible in one of the photos.
An interior opening at the base of the hollow handle allows the contents to flow into the tube surrounding the top of the neck and be sucked up through the spouts, possibly simultaneously by three guests.
