Sculpted saint in solid walnut,with traces of polychromy from the 17th century.Depicted kneeling on a cushion, her right hand resting on her chestin a gesture of swearing an oath on the Holy Scriptures. Her left hand rests ona column supporting a book. Her hair, carefully styled and notunbound, frames a face marked by contemplation.The figure is dressed in a loose-fitting costume with soft folds, complemented by anelegant drape. Beautiful presence and fine quality of carving.Good overall condition.Natural wear consistent with age. Standard restorations.
