Large lapis lazuli carving depicting a mountain landscape with rocks, pine trees, and figures beneath the trees; what appears to be a temple and a poetic inscription can be seen. On the reverse side are several houses or temples, again with rocks; below is a small river with ducks and a small boat; at the top is a phoenix in flight. Date: 1950s–1960s, China.
