Large 20th-century Persian Rug
Large Saruk Persian rug, featuring a floral design of stylized branches, flowers, and tendrils on a raspberry-pink background, with a contrasting dark blue border. Made of wool with a cotton warp, it shows signs of wear and a 20-cm tear along the edge (see photo), as well as some small missing threads along the border. It is of considerable size. First half of the 20th century.
