Centerpiece With Putties
Porcelain Centerpiece - Late 19th Century
Hand-painted porcelain with beautiful gilding.
The centerpiece features a central floral design of hand-painted roses, framed by golden ribbon bows on the sides, and a garland of applied porcelain cherry blossoms running around the bowl.
The base is adorned with two seated putti, each holding a golden drape, decorated with blue floral motifs.
The piece is in very good overall condition for its age. The porcelain is intact, though there is a slight chip on one of the flowers. The gilding remains brilliant, and the colors of the flowers are fresh and vivid.
