Christ on the cross, his head crowned with thorns surrounded by a luminous nimbus, surmounted by the titulus "INRI".
Featuring secondary figures:
At the foot of the cross, Mary Magdalene kneels in prayer and contemplation, her face marked by devotion.
On either side of Christ, two winged cherubim move in the clouds.
In the background: the city of Jerusalem with its fortifications.
The inscription: "Christus Jesus crucifixus est pro nobis" translates as "Jesus Christ was crucified for us"
