1900s Vase With Acid-etched Chestnut Tree Design, Era Legras Daum Galle
Artist: Montjoye
A charming vase featuring a chestnut tree design engraved by Montjoye.
A lovely piece with this design, entirely etched with a large chestnut tree flower and two broad leaves on either side of the vase. The flower is accented with gold, and the leaves feature a blend of green and gold in subtle shades. The contrast with the autumn-colored brown granite finish, typical of this renowned glassworks, is truly striking. The rectangular vase is further enhanced by a gold frieze featuring the leaf and chestnut motifs.
In perfect condition, 16 cm tall, stamped on the base, circa 1900.
Superb 1900s vase, very Art Nouveau and in perfect condition.
