Double-edged steel blade with a central ridge; the flat on the heel is marked ‘Toye et Co London’ on one side, monogrammed ‘C.E.’ surmounted by a coat of arms, and bears traces of markings on the other side.
Guard consisting of two bones crossed in an X-shape, in silver-plated steel.
Tang made of brown horn filigree with ten coils of twisted copper wire.
Pommel depicting a skull in silver-plated steel.
Brown leather scabbard.
Ferrule, numbered ‘37’, with a silver-plated tip and fittings.
Two lanyard rings.
