Rare 18th-century Italian Bookplate, Venice

A rare, significant, and beautiful painted and polychrome wooden chest of drawers featuring scenes in the Arte Povera style; this 18th-century Venetian piece consists of a chest of drawers at the bottom with three rows of drawers; a drop-down panel reveals a set of five small drawers and a niche, the upper section opens with two doors topped by an openwork pediment featuring a Mecca-style carved vase (silver leaf)
This beautiful piece, painted in a celadon green and coral color scheme, is decorated on the exterior with polychrome floral bouquets within rocaille medallions, and on the interior with scenes in the Arte Povera style; the moldings are partially painted in the Mecca style. it is mounted on softwood or poplar, presented in its original, untouched condition; this is a "rare" piece
