Pair Of Large Famille Rose Canton Vases With Polychrome Decoration China - Early XXᵉ Century
Beautiful pair of Famille Rose Canton porcelain vases, China, early 1900s, entirely hand-painted.
Each piece features particularly meticulous decoration, typical of quality workshops intended for export: lively court scenes, richly dressed figures, screens, low tables, open scrolls and flowering gardens in the background. Attitudes are fine, faces expressive, and drapery treated with beautiful precision.
Reserves alternate between figurative scenes and floral panels: peonies, lotuses, stylized foliage, birds delicately poised on branches. The glazes are luminous, with beautiful pinks, greens and yellows.
The neck and base are adorned with geometric friezes and traditional motifs, executed with a sure hand.
Both vases are in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips or restorations, which is remarkable for this type of format.
At the base, each bears a clear, well-centered red mark, attesting to careful production.
