An elegant baluster vase displaying the deep cobalt Bleu de Sèvres characteristic of the Manufacture’s finest productions, enhanced with gilt bands to the rim and foot and small gilt floral motifs delicately scattered across the body. The perfectly lustrous glaze highlights the intensity of the blue and reflects the technical mastery of the Manufacture, heir to the royal tradition established in the eighteenth century.
To the underside, printed green mark “S – Sèvres – Manufacture Nationale – France”, confirming the origin and authenticity of the piece.
Height: 34 cm.Excellent condition, with no cracks or restoration; gilding and glaze perfectly preserved.
Dating from circa 1950–1970, this vase exemplifies the aesthetic renewal of Sèvres in the post‑war period, when the Manufacture reinterpreted its classical forms in a modernist spirit, favouring purity of line and the depth of monochrome enamels.
