I must confess : without the inscription transcribing the artist's name on the stretcher, I'd have been hard pressed to decipher the signature !
That would have been a shame : the colors tones, worked in a slightly grainy material akin of the lime plaster on Italian village walls, create shapes that are reminiscent of Gorgio Morandi's Natures Mortes, and are extremely modernity, delicate and sober.
