Gilt Bronze Candlesticks
A pair of Empire-style gilt bronze candlesticks, made circa 1810-1820. Each candlestick rests on a circular base decorated with bas-reliefs of palmettes and interlacing patterns. The structure extends into a fluted, baluster-shaped shaft topped by a corbel containing bunches of grapes and ears of wheat. A candle holder completes the set.
