Trained at the Royal Institute of Fine Arts in Naples, Radames Raimondo Scoppa is one of the most compelling representatives of Neapolitan painting at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. He devoted the majority of his work to marines and views of the Bay of Naples, with a particular fondness for fishermen scenes and the ever-changing light of the bay. His paintings appear regularly at international auctions.
