A double-glazed terracotta tobacco jar, red clay with white clay appliqués. Origin: Apt region (Provence) or Beauvaisis. Interesting decoration with two medallions bearing the Arms of France, three fleurs-de-lis, and rows of fleurs-de-lis on the jar and its lid. Legitimist/Royalist decoration, circa 1820, 19th century.
