Portrait of a young girl with a lace collar. Oil on canvas in its original giltwood frame by Marie Emilie PREYAT née BRUINE, 1834-1910, born and died in Paris. The artist, a student of Léon Cogniet, received several official commissions for copies of works in Parisian museums. She exhibited in various events, in Toulouse in 1861, Paris in 1864 and 1865, then interrupted her career upon her marriage to PREYAT, resuming exhibitions only in 1876. Canvas dimensions: 54.5 x 65 cm. Frame dimensions: 76 x 90 cm.
