Claude Weisbuch's passion for literature is well known, as is his deep admiration for the writer Guy de Maupassant. In 1979, together with Maurice Genevoix (of the Académie Française), he illustrated an edition of Maupassant's Le Horla, of which 130 copies were printed.
A versatile artist, Claude Weisbuch is particularly renowned for his nervous, expressive brushwork, as well as for his works full of movement around themes that are dear to him: theater, musicians and dancers.
Claude Weisbuch has met with great success among lovers of modern art, printmaking and drawing.
