The piece belongs to the "Parmaklı" kilim family, which means "finger" in Turkish, and originates from the Afyon region in southwest Anatolia.
Its graphic power and instantaneous reading give the eye a multidimensional field centered on a double symmetry, ascending and from left to right.
In an ultra-suitable compact format, this work can easily be apprehended as a painting. The ingenuity lies in the space, the combinations and the succession.
