Large pair of sconces (46cm), Louis XVI style, 18th century. Three arms model. A large ormolu wall sconce chased with knotted ribbons, garlands and pearls, ending in a fire pot. The three S-shaped light arms are on the same level, decorated with plant motifs ending in gadrooned cups, the binnacles are decorated, and the chased petal wicks are present!
This pair of sconces is electrified. They have retained their beautiful original mercury gilding.
The plates are 8cm wide.
