Rare pair of Chinese export porcelain plates, known as “Compagnie des Indes”, decorated in polychrome enamels with a floral urn at the center.
The rim is adorned with blue ribbons, gilt friezes and dotted garlands, in the taste of pieces produced for the European market.
In good overall condition with age-appropriate wear and signs of use consistent with their period.
One plate has an old hairline crack.
