Rolling Mill Around 1925
The plate rolling mill is a jeweler's tool used to transform ingots into plates. It consists of two ground and polished steel cylinders, rotating one above the other in opposite directions and fixed in a frame. The distance between them is adjustable, allowing the thickness of the plate to be chosen. This rolling mill dates from around 1925, Art Deco period. Beautiful decorative object for an industrial interior.
