Mahogany Half Moon Games Table, Louis XVI Style - Early 20th Century
This mahogany half-moon game table, made in the refined taste of the Louis XVI style in the early XXᵉ century, seduces with its pure lines and quality craftsmanship.
Its top opens to reveal a game surface sheathed in deep green felt surrounded by a gold vignette. This top is encircled by an elegant brass mould, emphasizing its precious character. When open, it rests on a fourth sliding leg that conceals a secret storage space for cards and games. The four tapered legs, delicately fluted and finished with brass sabots, give the piece a balanced, classic look, typical of the neoclassical style. Both an ornamental piece of furniture and a decorative piece, it blends harmoniously into a living room, study or library, offering the discreet charm of antique furniture designed for conviviality and the pleasure of play.
