Large French Mantelpiece Mirror From The Late 19th Century
A very large late 19th century French mirror with a distinctive architectural shape.
The moulded wood frame has a worn, gilded finish. Its shape features a triple-arched top, with a higher central arch flanked by two lower, rounded arches, giving it a soft, elegant silhouette. The edges are subtly carved, adding to its character without being overly ornate.
The overall look blends classic European décor influences, reminiscent of late 19th century design.
The mirror functions not just as a practical object but as a decorative focal point, adding depth, light, and a sense of history to a room.
