Attributed to the prestigious Sinalli tribe.
Cuvals belong to that great family of everyday objects used by the nomadic populations of Anatolia. In the past, they were used to store and transport grain.
An authentic and precious object, their motifs were used to identify the rightful owner, as well as their geographical origin.
Woven wool on wool.
The motifs are embroidered on the central part using the Sumak technique. These 2 bands form the front of the bag. Unpatterned woven bands make up the back.
Exclusively vegetable colors, deep and luminous. The entire handle is intact, woven in the most beautiful way.
