Perfect mechanism, the hammer holds all three notches. Clean, powerful percussion.

Plate marked "Mre R. de Mutzig" (Manufacture Royale de Mutzig) and the crowned H hallmark.

Wooden stock marked with a spangled C and two St Etienne inscriptions as well as the number 270.

Barrel dated 1825 and also marked with the number 270 and "Cde 18".

Breech end marked "1822 T bis"
