""j. Chaineux" 12-shoot Pin-lock Revolver - 7mm Caliber - 19th Century"
A 19th-century pinfire revolver by "J. CHAINEUX," chambered in 7mm, with a 12-shot capacity. Made in Liège, all metal parts with a gray patina. The round, rifled barrel has flats at the breech and a dovetailed rear sight. The hollowed-out 12-shot cylinder is marked "J. CHAINEUX INUR BTE," stamped "ELG," and numbered 893. The trigger is located under the trigger guard. The frame is decorated with lines around the perimeter and stamped with a "V" under a crown. The grips are made of smooth ebony. It has a butt ring and an ejector rod. The ejector rod is present. Length: 21 cm. Barrel length: 11 cm. The mechanism is in perfect working order, functioning in both single and double action with a crisp, clean cocking notch.
