Caucasian silver belt, richly decorated.
It features 27 decorative links, a buckle with two protuberances and two larger links depicting birds perched on twigs. The belt was decorated using engraving, niello and gilding techniques.
This type of decorative silver belt was an indispensable part of the wedding attire of the Caucasus peoples.
