Charming terracotta funerary oushebti dating from the 21th Egyptian dynasty (1069-943 BC). It depicts a male figure in the guise of Osiris, according to traditional Osirian iconography, in a mummiform position.

These small funerary figurines were placed in large numbers in tombs. Their role was to accompany the deceased into the afterlife and to take the place of the deceased for agricultural work in the funerary world.
