The scene features a snowy path bordered by bare trees, animated by two figures advancing towards a small stone bridge and a farmhouse.

The luminous sky with its golden hues provides a beautiful end-of-day atmosphere, while the generously knife-worked material lends much relief and dynamism to the composition.

The work is signed lower right "B. Franco".
