Super nude of Charles Caty. Restquratin on the back. Invisible from the front. Caty was a painter and engraver. Training at the Academy of Mons, with Antoine Bourlard (1888 - 1890). Predilection for genre scenes, landscapes, figures and especially portraits. Professor of drawing at the Academy of Mons (1900 - 1933) and at the Ecole Normale Provinciale. Co-founder of the “Bon Vouloir” Circle in Mons. A Charles Caty prize is awarded to a painter who has regularly attended classes and obtained good results at the Mons Academy. Work at the Mons Museum.
