English Silver Teapot, Sheffield Circa 1898
English silver teapot resting on a rectangular base with rounded corners, embellished with fillets. Rectangular openwork bellied body decorated with twisted gadroons, scrolls and rocaille motifs combined with floral ornamentation. The neck has a wide flared lip and the rim is highlighted with a frieze of gadroons. It features a slightly domed, hinged lid topped by a wooden handle. Geometrically shaped wooden handle with thumb rest.
