The teapot is marked Wümak on the base. Wümak (Württembergische Metallmanufaktur Adolf Knecht G.m.b.H.) was founded in 1899 in Cannstatt, near Stuttgart, Germany. Originally, it was a metalworks company specializing in the production of high-quality metal items. From 1933 onward, the company focused on manufacturing oil filters for the automotive industry.
A new silver plating is recommended to restore its original shine. The teapot shows no significant dents, and the hinge connecting the lid to the main body is in good condition.
