"Antique German Silver-plated Teapot Wümak"
Antique silver-plated copper teapot, featuring an ebony-colored stained wooden handle. The original silver plating is largely worn away, revealing the underlying copper—a clear sign of the object’s age and use.
The teapot is marked Wümak on the base. Wümak (Württembergische Metallmanufaktur Adolf Knecht G.m.b.H.) was founded in 1899 in Cannstatt, near Stuttgart, Germany. Originally, it was a metalworks company specializing in the production of high-quality metal items. From 1933 onward, the company focused on manufacturing oil filters for the automotive industry.
A new silver plating is recommended to restore its original shine. The teapot shows no significant dents, and the hinge connecting the lid to the main body is in good condition.
