Pair of large ormolu torches Restoration period, early 19th century.
The vase-shaped binnacles are finely chased with water flowers.
Baluster-shaped fluted shafts topped with acanthus leaves ending in leafy palmettes adorned with delicately chased florets.
They end in a tripod base with claw feet embellished with flowers and palmettes, resting on a hexagonal base.
Original double patina mercury gilding in good condition, cleaned by our workshop (some wear, notably on the bases)
French work from the First Third of the 19th century.
