Large Reflecting Mirror Napoleon III Period 19th Century
Large Louis XV / Louis XVI Transition style reflector mirror in wood and gilded stucco Napoleon III period 19th century. Oval mirror surrounded by a frieze of pearls and floral gadroons. Pediment decorated with foliage falls and a flower vase in the center. The lower part with openwork scrolls, foliage and decorated with a shell in the center letting escape two wood and gilded stucco light arms. Original gold leaf gilding in very good condition. Transition style work with slender proportions from the second half of the 19th century.
