18th Century Dutch Display Case In Marquetry
Eighteenth-century Dutch window in marquetry, richly decorated with foliate scrolls and floral motifs in precious woods.
It features an elegant curved front, entirely glazed, allowing the objects on display to be beautifully displayed.
The jambs and scrolled cornice are finely underlined by inlaid fillets and inlays.
The pediment is embellished with a central carved element, accentuating its decorative character.
The interior is lined with a red fabric background (later) highlighting the shelves and objects on display.
Two shelves provide functional storage space.
This piece of furniture stands on curved legs, in the Louis XV taste (posterior)
