A rare and spectacular double-sided display cabinet in the Renaissance style, made in the 19th century from solid walnut and burl veneer. This exceptional piece was designed to be placed in the center of a room, allowing for display and access from both sides, suggesting it may have been used in a museum, a large shop, or an institution. The cabinet is distinguished by its remarkable quality of craftsmanship, with richly decorated and perfectly finished fronts on all four sides, which is particularly rare for this type of furniture. Description – Side A: The main front opens with nine panels, including: two glazed doors with their original shelves; one central door with a mirror; and 17 drawers in total, arranged around the central section. The central section features an elegant decoration composed of columns and arched arcades, with a mirrored background, adding depth and refinement to the composition. Description – Side B: The second front opens with four doors, while the upper section is fitted out as a bookcase, with several shelves for displaying books or objects.
