Tea Service In Limoges Porcelain - Asian Decor
Elegant Limoges porcelain tea service, signed Les Maîtres Porcelainiers Limougeauds, with polychrome décor inspired by 18th-century Chinese models, known as "Bird and Peony - Old China".
This refined service features a delicate decoration depicting a bird resting on a branch blooming with peonies and fruit, in the spirit of Qing-period export porcelains.
The quality of execution, the finesse of the design and the harmony of the colors make this a particularly attractive decorative set.
The reverse of the pieces bears the maker's mark as well as a statement specifying the origin of the decoration, adapted from ancient models preserved notably in the Musée Guimet, and validated by an expert.
