Large Glazed Stoneware Vase With Handles – Les Potiers d'Accolay
A significant glazed stoneware vase by Les Potiers d'Accolay, an iconic manufacturer of postwar French ceramics.
This piece is distinguished by its elegant, globular body resting on a small foot, its long, flared neck accented with moldings, and its two wide side handles, in a style inspired by ancient forms reinterpreted through 1950s design.
It is coated with a superb golden-brown glaze with caramel and amber highlights, characteristic of Accolay’s productions from this period. The quality of the glaze and the generous proportions give it a strong decorative presence.
The original label “Les Potiers d’Accolay – Made in France” is still present on the neck. The underside bears an old collector’s inscription.
A very beautiful decorative piece that can hold large floral arrangements or be displayed on its own.

Very good overall condition. A few very slight signs of wear and tiny, isolated chips in the glaze visible on the neck, which do not affect the appearance. No cracks or restoration.
