1950s Italian Beaded Crystal Dining Room Chandelier With Ten Lights
Crystal Dining Room Chandelier with Ten Lights, circa 1950 featuring a circular brass frame with a square cross-section, ten curved arms shaped into volutes at the ends, and interspersed at the bottom with round-section tubes. The chandelier is richly decorated with almond-shaped crystal drops; along the larger diameter, large rosettes alternate with six-petaled flowers made of hand-strung crystal beads. The distinctive feature of this chandelier is the decoration of the central structure, which, around a crystal pinnacle, is adorned with garlands of beads that in turn support additional pendants, also made of beads.
The chandelier has been completely rewired with 2×0.50 mm narrow-ribbed flat wire in brown, patinated on-site to match the color of the oxidized brass stem. The ten bulbs have E14 mini sockets, and the chandelier is wired for a maximum power of 750 watts.
It is of Italian origin, handcrafted around 1950, completely restored by our workshop, and is now in perfect condition.
