Italian Pair of 18th Century Louis XV Carved Mecca Mirrors, a pair of silver-leaf with mecca finish carved frames, lovely scrolling, floral and vegetal Louis XV carving, with mercury glasses, one is broken in the lower part, see closed-up detail.
They are originally realized as sconces, as you can easily desume by the holes in the lower part of the structures, for the missing arms.
Good age related condition, wear consistent with age and use, minor mecca losses. Italian origin, they date back to last quarter of 18th century.
