Pair Of Murano Glass And Brass
Elegant pair of postmodern/Hollywood Regency-style table lamps, crafted in '80s Murano glass and brass.
These fixtures feature a "totem" structure composed of a stack of different mouth-blown glass elements, offering a play of textures and contrasts:
* White opal glass: globes and a domed base in satin-finish opaline glass
* Glass textured with gold leaf: intermediate disks in solid mouth-blown glass, one translucent with radiating ribs, the other enriched with gold dust inclusions in traditional Muranese technique.
* Geometric elements: Murano glass cubes structure the architectural silhouette of the whole.
The frame and separating rings are in gilded brass, underlining the elegance of the materials. The design is characteristic of Murano's high-end production of the period in the spirit of houses such as Barovier & Toso or Mazzega.
Excellent state of preservation.
Electricity completely overhauled and refurbished.
Shown here with gray/green conical shades.
