Crystal perfume bottlewith faceted cut, (“Soap Bubbles”), featuringa silver and vermeil setting.The body is adorned with twocartouches and floral motifs, where two cherubs reach out toward a third child on the stopper, who is blowing asoap bubble.The hinged lid is finelyenamelled with arabesques in green enamel.The work—by Morel and Duponchel— cited by Henri Vever in his book "LaBijouterie française au XIXe siècle" (French Jewelry in the 19thCentury)—reproduces the design of this bottle (Vol. 1, p. 279).This splendid object is the workof the famous goldsmith Valentin Morel, circa 1840, supplier to royal andimperial families.Height: 12 cm
