Louis XV Period Burgundy Stone Mantel
Elegant stone mantel from Quintaine (Saône et Loire), carved in the 18th century, from the Louis XV period in fine condition. The lintel, with its "crossbow" hearth opening, is decorated with a shell flanked by acanthus leaves and filleted reserves, and rests on canted console jambs adorned with table reserves.
Some minor wear and tear.
The length of the body is 143 cm.
The useful depth is 61 cm for 68 cm overall.
