A very fine pair of 19th-century prints, the first entitled "Le Lever" after a drawing by N.F. REGNAULT (1746-1810) and the second "Le Bain" after a drawing by P. BAUDOUIN (1723-1769). They represent interior scenes as appreciated in the 18th century, with partially nude young women, beautifully drawn or painted by François BOUCHER. The backgrounds are always very rich, and the young woman is often assisted by servants, who accompany her as she grooms or dresses. The paper is slightly yellowed, and there are two small, non-shocking stains, but the whole is very decorative, with fresh, more recent passe-partouts and their dark, varnished wood mouldings. Dimensions of each frame: 33 x 27.5 cm.
