Beautiful coffee pot with gold filet decoration on a white background, bearing 2 cartouches with the word "Foi" and below the signature of Manufacture Darte Frères in Blue. Empire Restoration period, after 1804.
The Darte factory was created in 1795, with an oven on rue de Charonne and a store in the Palais Royal. In 1804, the Manufacture became Darte Frères. In 1809, under the Empire, it came under the protection of S.A.I. Madame Mère de S.M. L'Empereur et Roi. Under the Restoration, it continued its activity until 1828.
