A Japanese Satsuma ceramic koro of globular form, raised on three feet, decorated all around with scenes of everyday life along a riverbank, animated by numerous figures and geisha.
The composition is enriched by flowering wisteria trees, with cascading branches extending across the upper part of the decoration.
The lid is in painted and pierced ceramic, recalling the shape of a chrysanthemum. Signed Kinkozan in gold under the base.
