Charming solid silver box, hallmarked 800 thousandths, of low rectangular shape, elegantly proportioned.

The lid features finely repoussé and chased decoration, centered on an oval medallion adorned with a flowering vase, framed by garlands, ribbons and foliage in a neoclassical spirit typical of the Louis XVI style. The corners are embellished with delicately treated foliage scrolls and motifs, bringing relief and elegance to the ensemble.

The sides are also decorated with reserves with frieze motifs, alternating laurel wreaths, instruments and decorative elements, in a beautiful ornamental harmony. The silverwork, both precise and balanced, testifies to quality craftsmanship.
