Charles Liozu - View Of Albi ( Tarn)
Charles Liozu (1866-1948)
Painter, writer, illustrator and poet, Charles Liozu was a student at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse and then Paris.
Appointed curator of the Albi museum set up in the Parc Rochegude, in 1920 he welcomed the major donation from painter Toulouse-Lautrec to the Palais de la Berbie museum, where he became curator from 1922 to 1934.
His work bears witness to a sensitive view of the Tarn region.
