Turned Bronze Candlestick - Spanish - 17th Century
Seventeenth-century Spanish bronze corkscrew, with flared base and turned shaft topped by a circular wick. The surface has a beautiful old patina with traces of use. The shaft has a characteristic rectangular opening. A sober, robust set, typical of Spanish craftsmanship of the period.
